- Block-unit Heating Power Plant
- A modular system for the production of electrical energy and heat. The system is preferably operated at the location of the heat consumption, useful heat can also be fed into a district heating network.
- As drive for the power generator combustion engines like diesel or gas engines can be used, as well as gas turbines. These can be operated with organic fuels such as rapeseed oil or biogas.
- Because of the use of waste heat of electric generation a combined heat and power plant is more efficient than the combination of conventional electricity generation and heating system.
